What we collect
Account details you give us: name, email address, job title and company size.
Your newsletter choice, and the date it took effect (after you first sign in through the emailed link).
What you do in the courses: lessons you mark complete, purchases and membership status.
Messages you send through the contact form, including your company if you add it.
A one-way hash of your IP address when you submit a form, used only to stop spam and abuse.
Payment details are collected by Stripe, not us. We receive your Stripe customer ID and payment status.
How we use it
To run your account and give you the access you've paid for.
To send account emails: sign-in links, receipts, webinar reminders and important changes.
To send the Hot Take newsletter, only if you opted in. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch it off in Settings.
To understand which pages and lessons are useful, through privacy-friendly page analytics.
Who processes it for us
Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting and page analytics), Stripe (payments and tax), Bunny (video hosting), Resend (email delivery), n8n (email automation) and Cloudflare Turnstile (a check on sign-in and sign-up forms that tells people from bots). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
We don't sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in. [DECISION: confirm no advertising or tracking cookies will be added; if they will, this section and a consent banner need updating.]
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account is open. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. [DECISION: retention period after an account is deleted.]
Your choices
You can update your name, job title, company size and newsletter choice in Settings, and ask us for a copy of your data or to delete it by emailing hello@hothoney.ai.
